Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- Experience with concurrency, multithreading or synchronization.
- Experience developing infrastructure and distributed systems in C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience working on database internals or storage or caching solutions.
- Experience with monitoring and hardening product data integrity.
- Experience analyzing and improving the performance of Input/Output (IO) and storage systems or internal database query processing.

Responsibilities
- Work with tech leads and peers to drive long term technical direction as well as testing and hardening product data integrity.
- Own and drive the design and implementation of features and components across the database stack.
- Analyze end-to-end performance of distributed storage and working on short and long term projects to improve it.
- Active participation in the operation and maintenance of the database as a service, including troubleshooting and diagnosis of customer and service issues.
- Identify proactively and improve operation efficiencies by improving process and tool sets.
