Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, consulting, or financial analysis.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 8 years of experience with business insights, financial analysis or marketing measurement techniques (e.g., incrementality, Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM)) and Google and others advertising products (e.g., Google Ads, SA360, Analytics, Google marketing platform, etc.).
  • 8 years of experience in client-facing, with a track record of influencing across levels.
  • Knowledge of SQL, databases, and basic automation techniques (e.g., dashboards, automating custom reports, materialising tables).
  • Ability to analyse large datasets and distil them into actionable insights that are presented in a logical and compelling story.
  • Excellent communication skills with comfort delivering simple and compelling stories to audiences of all levels.

As an Analytical Lead, you will work with the largest advertising customers and agencies across the retail and technology industry as part of Google’s Sales team. You will work with account managers, industry managers, and sales managers to present integrated, data-driven business opportunities based on internal and external tools analysis across Google’s full range of media solutions, including Search, YouTube, mobile, display, and measurement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support and consulting on client’s/partner’s strategy in the areas of sales, marketing or product development, and translate data into answers to business questions or insights to facilitate business decision-making.
  • Develop and own analytical modeling for key client/partner projects, apply or customize analytical tools (e.g., dashboards) and frameworks to identify opportunities, and develop solutions to optimize client/partner business and maximize the use and effectiveness of Google products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to drive business growth with clients/partners, conduct in-depth analysis and identify business opportunities, and support the development of go-to-market business pitch and marketing collateral.
  • Build and manage relationships with client/partner stakeholders across functions and levels, and own the relationship with the data/analytical stakeholders on the client’s/partner’s side.
