Short Description

As a new Chief Officer, you will be on board a cutter suction dredger that is currently idle in Dubai, UAE, ensuring the vessel remains ready for immediate mobilization. Your main responsibility will be to keep the dredger in a sailing‑ready condition at all times, enabling her to sail away at short notice when required.

Function Description

As a Chief Officer, you’ll steer our operations, making a real impact on our success and future growth.

• Maintain the cutter suction dredger in sailing‑ready condition at all times.
• Ensure navigation and bridge readiness for immediate mobilization.
• Supervise deck operations and crew, focusing on safety and compliance.
• Manage safety equipment, drills, and ISM procedures onboard.
• Coordinate closely with the Master regarding vessel status and readiness.

Requirements

• Valid STCW Chief Officer (CoC)
• Valid passport
• Valid seafarer medical certificate
• STCW Basic Safety Training
• Experience on dredgers, preferably cutter suction dredgers
• Eligibility to work and join the vessel in Dubai, UAE at short notice
