Compensation: AED 70,000+ per month plus an annual bonus based on alpha generation
Location: Dubai, UAE (On‑site) with full relocation and visa support
RGG Capital is seeking an outstanding Associate CIO for our Investments team to lead investment research and coordinate the investment process. In this role you will work directly with our Chief Investment Officer to enhance research capabilities, optimize hedge fund portfolio operations, and drive analytical excellence across our investment division.
What You’ll Achieve
- Oversee sourcing, screening, and evaluating hedge fund opportunities across strategies and geographies.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the fund’s performance, investment process, risk metrics, and team capabilities.
- Maintain regular contact with managers to assess strategy drift, performance attribution, risk reports, and organizational stability.
Coordinate the Due Diligence Process
- Collaborate with our Operational Due Diligence (ODD) Analyst and Quantitative Due Diligence (QDD) Analyst to coordinate the entire due diligence process.
- Maintain due diligence trackers and ensure timely completion of regular updates.
- Synthesize outputs into comprehensive investment memoranda for the CIO and Investment Committee.
Conduct Macro Research and Market Analysis
- Monitor and interpret macroeconomic data, central bank policy, and geopolitical developments to assess implications for markets and asset classes.
- Identify key trends and macro themes, develop scenario analyses (inflation, fiscal trends, capital flows, technologies, etc.) to maintain a “house view,” inform manager selection and portfolio positioning, and build potential hedges if necessary.
- Distill actionable insights and weekly briefs for the CIO and Investment Committee.
Required Skills and Qualifications (MUST HAVES)
- 8‑12 years of professional experience in investment management at a top‑tier hedge fund and/or fund of hedge funds.
- Deep understanding of financial markets and complex financial instruments.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) from a top‑tier institution in Finance, Mathematics, Physics, or related quantitative field.
- Programming skills in Python for investment analysis and portfolio management.
- Exceptional research and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to coordinate and manage projects in multi‑stakeholder investment environments.
- Proficiency in industry‑standard investment tools including Bloomberg.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications (NICE TO HAVES)
- CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional certifications.
- Experience with emerging markets.
