Job Summary

This physician position focuses on the diagnosis, prevention and treatment of rheumatic illnesses. The role involves direct patient care and may include referral to other members of the health‑care team at CCAD.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Monitor and provide care to patients within the Rheumatology specialty.
• Prescribe or administer medication, therapy and other specialized medical care.
• Analyze records, reports and test results to diagnose patients’ medical conditions.
• Gather additional history and information from patients.
• Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
• Provide specific treatments and perform operations when appropriate.
• Document patient conditions and refer as needed for further care.
• Collaborate with medical and non‑medical staff to ensure quality patient treatment.
• Perform surgical procedures when required.
• Deliver culturally appropriate care.
• Follow ethical and regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in administrative functions, including committees and performance improvement measures.
• Adhere to clinical privileges and CCAD policies and procedures.

Experience Requirements

• Physician from Tier 1 countries with at least 2 additional years of experience post‑qualification.
• Valid license/registration to practice in home country or last employment country.
• Demonstrated ability to manage a team of health‑care professionals.
• Maintenance of Certification where applicable.
• Effective communication skills and ability to build relationships with patients and staff.
• Proficiency in English (speaking and writing).

Education Requirements

• MD, MBBS, MBChB or equivalent basic medical degree.
• Completion of a recognized Rheumatology specialization from a Tier 1 country.
