Summary

We are seeking a Server-Side Developer for ByteDance’s travel products. The role involves improving efficiency and scalability using Java/Golang, distributed systems, and contributing to all stages of product delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Develop server-side solutions for ByteDance’s travel products, ensuring high availability, performance, and scalability through quality design and coding.
  • Explore tools and processes to enhance team efficiency, participate in technical construction, and foster a strong technical environment.
  • Contribute throughout the product delivery cycle, including requirement review, system design, testing, monitoring, and operation of production systems.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in computer science or related fields.
  • Proficiency in Java or Golang, with experience in JVM/Golang tuning and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of distributed system design patterns, message queues, distributed storage, cache, and lock technologies.
  • Understanding of operating systems, networks, security, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with MySQL and NoSQL databases, including optimization and problem-solving.
  • Ability to troubleshoot Linux systems using scripting languages.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of leading medium to large projects.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI/ML and their application in business.
