As a Game Designer 4X, you will be responsible for conceptualizing and developing the gameplay mechanics, systems, and overall design of our next-generation 4X (explore, expand, exploit, and exterminate) strategy game. Your key responsibilities will include:

1. Designing and balancing complex game systems, including resource management, tech trees, faction abilities, and win conditions.
2. Collaborating with the development team to bring your design ideas to life, ensuring seamless integration of gameplay and technology.
3. Iterating on gameplay based on player feedback and data analysis to continuously refine the user experience.
4. Crafting compelling narratives, world-building, and faction backstories to immerse players in a rich, evocative universe.
5. Documenting and communicating your design vision to the broader team to ensure alignment and clear implementation.
