Job Purpose

The role of an Engineer is part of the Core Delivery team, aligned to a particular Technology service, to create and deliver technology solutions that enable business value.

Qualifications & Experience

• Knowledge of Azure Active Directory, Federation services, Cloud IaaS, PaaS & SaaS
• Experience setting up integration with messaging gateway & security components
• Understanding of O365 architecture, including Exchange Hybrid environment and compliance messaging policies
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft 365 security products and features
• Experience with Exchange Online and migration projects
• Technical skills in setting up & managing Veritas Enterprise Vault
• Experience in enterprise email migration (on-premises to cloud/on-premises)
• Knowledge of Azure AD identity-based security and application integration
• Strong troubleshooting skills in Messaging & Collaboration services
• Microsoft certifications are preferred
• Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows environment
• Experience in security controls planning for financial organizations (preferred)
• Knowledge of Exchange on-premises, Teams, backup solutions
• Good communication skills and experience managing services, incidents, problem management
• Basic knowledge of OneDrive, SharePoint online, and admin management of MS Teams, Exchange online, Azure Information Protection, DLP, Microsoft Cloud App Security
• Experience managing Microsoft Teams and SaaS platform integrations

Role Description

• Design, build, and implement O365 products including Exchange on-premises, Exchange Online, Hybrid setups, and Enterprise Vault
• Manage Exchange Hybrid setup and mailbox migrations
• Resolve technical issues related to applications and integrations
• Set up and manage Exchange and Enterprise Vault environments
• Disaster recovery planning and execution
• Email restoration and end-to-end messaging and collaboration support
• Manage admin activities, troubleshooting, and vendor coordination
• Automate processes and develop SOPs for team handovers
• Engage with stakeholders for service requirements and troubleshooting
• Lead problem management and incident resolution

Experience Requirements

• 8-10 years in messaging & collaboration environments
• At least 5 years in M365 planning and implementation

Technical Skills

• Hands-on experience with Exchange (on-premises and online), Enterprise Vault, and hybrid configurations
• Understanding of Azure AD, ADFS, email archiving, Windows deployment, and Office 365 security
• Scripting skills in PowerShell
• Microsoft 365 certifications or equivalent
