Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to the implementation of environmental sustainability initiatives across the MENA region , ensuring alignment with EY’s broader sustainability vision.

• Collaborate closely with the Ripples team to drive forward region-specific environmental programs that reflect EY’s global sustainability objectives.

• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams, clients, partners , and community stakeholders to support the successful rollout of sustainability initiatives.

• Conduct in-depth research and analysis on emerging sustainability trends and global best practices, offering strategic recommendations to enhance EY’s efforts.

• Design and execute strategies that embed sustainability within EY’s core business operations and internal practices.

• Partner with various departments to ensure clear communication and organization-wide adoption of sustainability programs.

• Track and evaluate the progress of sustainability projects , preparing regular updates and reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.

• Represent EY in industry events, workshops, and conferences , staying current on sustainability developments and expanding the firm’s network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability , or a related discipline.

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in sustainability, ESG, corporate responsibility, or related fields.

• Proven success in developing and executing sustainability programs .

• Strong knowledge of sustainability trends and frameworks , particularly relevant to the MENA region .

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to collaborate across diverse stakeholder groups.

• Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to thrive both independently and within a team in fast-paced environments .

• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills , with a sharp eye for detail.
