Role Purpose:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Technical Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of a Greenfield SAP S/4HANA program deployed on Microsoft Azure Cloud. As a key member of our enterprise transformation team, you will architect a secure, scalable, and high-performance SAP landscape that leverages Azure’s capabilities, driving innovation and agility across the organization.

Role Details – Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Lead the end-to-end technical architecture design and strategy for SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementation.

• Define target technical architecture including on-premise, cloud, or hybrid deployment models.

• Establish technical standards, frameworks, and design patterns across the SAP landscape.

• Oversee system landscape design including sizing, scalability, performance, high availability, and disaster recovery.

• Collaborate with BASIS and infrastructure teams for SAP system provisioning, environment setup, and technical operations.

• Drive integration strategy with legacy systems and third-party applications using SAP BTP, PI/PO, or other middleware.

• Provide guidance on data migration architecture and tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, SAP Migration Cockpit).

• Define security architecture in coordination with GRC and cybersecurity teams.

• Act as the primary technical escalation point across streams for architecture-related decisions.

• Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture standards and IT governance policies.

• Support testing, cutover planning, and production readiness from a technical standpoint.

• Participate in vendor and product evaluations for technical components and tools.

Functional/Technical Competencies

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 10+ years of SAP technical experience, including at least 3+ years in a Technical Architect role.

• Proven experience with SAP S/4HANA Greenfield implementations in large enterprise environments.

• Strong understanding of SAP architecture including S/4HANA Core, Fiori, SAP BTP, and Integration Suite.

• Deep knowledge of system integration, infrastructure, cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and SAP on HANA.

• Experience with technical migration, system conversions, and custom code remediation strategies.

• Excellent problem-solving skills, communication, and stakeholder management.
