Role Overview:

Role Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Accountant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll , ensuring full compliance with UAE labor laws and internal policies. You’ll also act as a key liaison between HR and Finance, supporting onboarding, offboarding, and employee lifecycle updates.
Key Responsibilities:

• Process monthly payroll accurately and on time, in compliance with UAE statutory regulations.
• Manage onboarding tasks including creating employee codes, system access, and payroll setup.
• Calculate final settlements for leavers, including pro-rated salary, leave encashments, and reimbursements.
• Track and update internal transfers, promotions, and compensation changes.
• Maintain organized records for audit purposes, including payroll reports, timesheets, and approvals.
• Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to resolve payroll discrepancies and ensure policy alignment.
• Stay informed about changes in payroll regulations and labor law compliance.

Requirements
Key Requirements:

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in payroll accounting, preferably within the UAE.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, formulas, etc.).
• Familiarity with payroll management software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar) is a plus.
• Strong understanding of UAE labor law and statutory payroll requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• High level of accuracy, discretion, and accountability.
