The Subsea CP Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of Cathodic Protection systems for offshore structures, subsea pipelines, risers, manifolds, and other critical subsea assets. The role supports for ongoing offshore campaigns and ensures asset integrity through proactive corrosion prevention and monitoring.

Key Responsibilities

Design and Engineering
Perform design calculations for sacrificial anode and impressed current CP systems per project and industry standards.
Prepare detailed design documentation, specifications, and drawings.
Develop and review CP installation and inspection procedures.

Field Operations
Support offshore installation and commissioning of CP systems.
Supervise CP data acquisition during ROV or diver campaigns.
Analyze survey results and issue technical reports with CP performance evaluations.

Project Delivery
Interface with clients, subcontractors, and offshore teams.
Provide CP input during FEED, EPC, and inspection phases.
Participate in integrity management and life extension studies.

Qualifications and Experience

B.Sc. in Corrosion Engineering, Materials Science, or related field.

Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in offshore CP design and survey interpretation.

NACE CP Level 2 or 3 Certification is highly preferred.

Hands-on experience with subsea ROV and diver CP inspections.

Familiarity with software tools for CP design (e.g., BEASY, AutoCAD).

BOSIET / HUET / Offshore Medical Certificates (valid or willing to obtain).

Preferences

Sound understanding of electrochemical corrosion principles.

Effective communicator with strong technical reporting skills.

Ability to work in high-pressure offshore environments and deliver on tight deadlines.

Proficient in interpreting survey logs, CP trends, and maintenance planning.
