Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on swimming pools, spas, and related equipment, including pumps, filters, and tanks.

Water Quality: Test and adjust the chemical levels in the pool water to ensure it meets health and safety standards. Maintain the proper chemical balance for the pool.

Equipment Management: Inspect and maintain pool equipment, identifying and repairing any faults or issues. Replace defective or old parts as needed.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including water quality tests, repairs, and chemical usage.

Authority

Authorized to execute works within the common areas as assigned by the team leader or department head against a work order.

Authorized to request/collect material from stores for the execution of works against a work order.

Authorized to enter plant rooms and areas that are not restricted by client & within the scope of FARNEK.

Not authorized to liaise with client staff.

Skills Required:

  • Have basic knowledge of MECH controls and components.
  • Ability to use and interpret tools, measurements, and readings.
  • Able to conduct performance checks, interpret results, and propose corrective actions to Team Leader.
  • Hands-on skills in problem diagnosis.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • Good knowledge of applicable standards and codes.
  • Experience in asset condition verification.
  • Positive and proactive attitude, bringing innovative ideas for improvement of operations (energy, risk, and safety).
  • Ability to handle and face customers/end-users.

Qualifications:

  • Diploma or Degree Holder.
  • Minimum of 3-4 years experience in Swimming pool equipment Operations & Maintenance in GCC.
  • Good communication skills (English).
