We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Workshop/Garage Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive maintenance and repair, as well as excellent managerial and organizational skills. As the Workshop/Garage Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our workshop and garage, ensuring that all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

– Manage and supervise a team of mechanics and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed

– Must Have an experience of dealing with UAE Insurance companies.

– Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and serviced

– Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies and parts as needed

– Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards

– Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed

– Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions

– Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development opportunities for team members

– Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely completion of projects

– Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in automotive technology

– Manage budget and expenses for the workshop/garage

Qualifications:

– Bachelor’s degree in Automotive Engineering or a related field

– Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role (Within UAE) , preferably in a workshop or garage setting

– Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair techniques

– Excellent leadership and communication skills

– Proven ability to manage and motivate a team

– Proficient in using computer software for record-keeping and inventory management

– Familiarity with UAE safety regulations and standards

– Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines

– Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

– Fluency in English, Arabic is a plus
