Base pay range
EGP15,000.00/yr – EGP20,000.00/yr
Job Summary
The Assistant Manager – Legal will support various functions within the CLIENT , focusing on legal advisory, regulatory policy development, and case management. The role involves providing legal counsel across business areas, supporting regulatory framework development, managing litigation and claims, and contributing to internal coordination and legal operations. The position requires sound legal judgment, regulatory awareness, and collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Legal Advisory
- Support legal advice to internal CLIENT functions, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
- Advise the Market Assurance team on licensing, supervision, and investigation decisions under CLIENT regulations.
- Contribute to legal research and help standardize legal documents (e.g., contracts, agreements).
- Regulatory Policy Development
- Assist in developing or amending regulatory policies.
- Collaborate with external counsel on regulations, rulebooks, and legal matters.
- Engage with local/federal regulators, industry associations, and stakeholders to shape regulatory frameworks.
- Case and Litigation Management
- Support the handling of lawsuits, claims, and legal disputes involving CLIENT and VASPs.
- Coordinate legal case staffing based on expertise and case requirements.
- Follow up on ongoing legal matters to ensure CLIENT’s interests are represented effectively.
- Departmental Support
- Aid in daily operations of the Regulatory Enablement and Legal department.
- Coordinate with business support and other internal departments.
- Other Duties
- Handle sensitive and confidential matters with discretion and sound judgment.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
