Overview

Senior Maintenance Engineer at Convergint . Responsible for all security systems operation, maintenance work execution, testing, and hand-over to clients. Ensure that all required infrastructure needs are available and ready, including networking, CCTV, access control systems (ACS), intrusion detection systems (IDS), and power, to ensure smooth operations of all systems on site.

Responsibilities

• Fault Monitoring & Resolution: Monitor fault logs, identify issues, perform root cause analysis, and report findings.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with clients, IT, and other teams to resolve faults and ensure proper system functioning.
• System Maintenance: Maintain firmware, security patches, and configurations for optimized performance.
• Records & Reporting: Keep detailed records of faults, preventive/predictive maintenance, and callouts.
• Security Management: Ensure network security measures are implemented and maintain security systems and user protocols.
• Training & Enhancements: Advise clients on system upgrades and provide refresher training as needed.
• Operational Oversight: Monitor system performance, handle routine operations, and supervise technicians during implementation and repairs.

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelors degree in Electrical & Electronics, Electronics & Telecommunications, or IT with a Physics background.
• Certifications: Cisco CCNA, CCNP; CCTV (Milestone, Genetec, Axis); ACS (LENEL, KERISYS, PAXTON); Biometrics; Barriers; Bollards; Road blockers; Spike bumps; ANPR; video analytics.

Experience

• Required: 3 years of experience in security systems across total or turnaround projects.
