Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Engineer – Transport Planning & Mobility to join our Dubai office. The successful candidate will work on a range of transport planning and mobility projects, with a particular focus on projects for the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). This is a key technical role that involves contributing to the planning, design, and delivery of sustainable transport solutions for Dubai’s growing mobility needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead the preparation and delivery of transport planning studies, masterplans, and mobility strategies.
- Manage traffic impact studies, feasibility studies, and transport modelling assignments.
- Ensure alignment of project deliverables with RTA standards, regulations, and approval processes.
- Prepare technical reports, presentations, and client submissions.
- Liaise with RTA and other government stakeholders to secure project approvals.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members.
- Support project management activities including budgets, schedules, and resource planning.
- Contribute to business development activities including proposals, bids, and client relationship management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Urban Planning, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- 6–8 years of professional experience in transport planning and mobility projects.
- Proven experience working on RTA projects in Dubai is essential.
- Strong knowledge of RTA codes, standards, and design approval processes.
- Proficiency in transport modelling and planning software (e.g., VISUM, VISSIM, SATURN, Synchro, Cube, or equivalent).
- Strong analytical, technical writing, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic language skills are an advantage.
