Job Title: Senior UI/UX Designer

NorthBay Solutions is seeking a Senior UI/UX Designer with a strong background in designing modern, intuitive, and engaging user interfaces for web applications. The ideal candidate will combine creativity with a user-centered approach, translating business requirements and user needs into seamless, high-quality digital experiences. This role requires close collaboration with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to ensure design consistency and usability across the product lifecycle.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end UI/UX design process for web applications, from research and ideation to final implementation.
  • Create wireframes, interactive prototypes, mockups, and user flows that communicate design concepts clearly.
  • Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to improve user experience.
  • Ensure design systems, style guides, and component libraries are consistent and scalable.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging design trends, tools, and best practices, particularly in AI-powered applications.
  • Present design solutions and rationale to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.

Mandatory Requirements

  • 8–10+ years of proven experience in UI/UX design for web applications .
  • Strong expertise in Figma (or similar tools such as Sketch, Adobe XD).
  • Solid understanding of user-centered design principles , accessibility standards, and usability best practices.
  • Experience creating wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and user flows .
  • Strong portfolio showcasing real-world projects and design thinking.

Desired Skills (Good to Have)

  • Experience designing interfaces for AI-powered or data-driven applications .
  • Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS, JavaScript frameworks ).
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

  • Location: Onsite in Abu Dhabi, UAE (mandatory).
  • Relocation: Candidates must be willing to relocate and commit to long-term client engagements.
