We’re Hiring: System Engineer – Server & Storage
Location : Abu Dhabi
Project : Onsite in Ethiopia – 18 Months
Job Type: Full-Time

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced System Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise storage, servers, virtualization, and cloud environments for a major project in Ethiopia. This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-critical infrastructure and lead high-impact projects in a dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain HPE, Huawei, and Dell servers & storage systems.
• Implement and troubleshoot SAN/NAS/iSCSI, Veeam backups, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Administer VMware/Hyper-V and HCI environments (e.g., Nutanix).
• Lead infrastructure projects, ensuring cross-data center optimization and high availability.
• Ensure system security, compliance, and performance tuning.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in server & storage engineering.
• Hands-on expertise with Huawei, VMware, and Veeam technologies.
• Strong understanding of virtualization, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications

• VMware VCP-DCV
• Nutanix NCP
• ITIL Foundation
