What You Will Do

The Project Development Engineer is a key role directly reporting to Regional Sales Manager for Install Business. You will be based in Dubai and will be part of a growing team and will be responsible for driving the growth of business for Building Technology and Solutions with focus on Energy Solutions in GCC.

As a Project Development Engineer, you will be working closely with the Sales team for technical and commercial development of Energy solution and proposal. As a member of this team, you will work within a vibrant environment that provides a platform for you to use your experience to support the team with the pre-sales/estimation for energy solution.

How You Will Do It

You will be responsible for validating assumptions made during solution design, build energy savings estimates, cost estimates and scope of work for assigned projects in conjunction with operations. You will be also responsible for providing technical risk analysis for the complete solution. You will be part of transition meetings with Operations team to ensure project scope, objectives, timeline and customer requirements are taken care in proper manner.

As a Project Development Engineer you may need to perform on-site data collection at customer facilities and support post-contract design review. You will be also focused on developing multiple components for the bundled sale of energy solution. You will be using strong customer relationship skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders (suppliers and vendors).

• Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• 0-1 year experience / Intern experience in similar background
• Result orientated, tenacious, self-motivated, a customer focused approach
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in business analysis
• Excellent inter-personal skills – must be able to adapt working style to the personalities and work styles of our stakeholders and internal partners
• Fluency in English language is essential.
• Good analytical skills
