Manage applications and systems support, coordinating with the team to deliver in-house reports and changes, reducing or eliminating IT and vendor costs to the business.

Serve as the go-to expert for all core applications used by the business, with excellent knowledge of systems, data, and functional flows across front-office, middle-office, back-office, and integrations with internal and external platforms.

Drive business requirements for new initiatives, projects, changes, and enhancements, aiming to reduce application and system costs, maximize productivity, and ensure project deliverables meet timelines and budgets.

Lead and manage a team to fulfill IT and project requirements aligned with stakeholder needs.

Manage and oversee new initiatives and core application changes from requirements gathering through workflow definition, functional specifications, user acceptance, go-live, and post-launch support.

Utilize strong business and application knowledge to improve efficiency and productivity through automation, process improvements, enhanced features, and automating manual tasks.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level support to business users, including application support, training, change management, reporting, and new requirements.
  • Coordinate with Group IT to resolve issues and escalate vendor-related problems.
  • Ensure adherence to SLAs with Group IT.
  • Manage relationships with Group IT as a service provider for Asset Management.
  • Drive change requests and enhancements for applications used by Asset Management and the bank’s capital KSA.
  • Contribute technical and functional insights to minimize external dependencies and boost productivity.
  • Collaborate closely with support teams and vendors to resolve incidents and cases efficiently, providing workarounds or permanent solutions.
  • Research and train end-users on new functionalities to reduce manual work and improve operational efficiency.

Job Dimensions

Coordinate projects to ensure IT spending stays within budget, support business application needs, and apply extensive knowledge of banking systems, applications, and procedures.

Team Management

Manage and lead a team supporting core applications and training.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronics, computer science, computer applications, or information technology.
  • Professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong business knowledge in asset management, including products, procedures, and processes.
  • Minimum 5 years in application support, 4 years in software development, and 4 years in asset management industry.
