Overview

Registered Nurse with DOH or DHA license required in HOMECARE ABU DHABI. The ideal candidate should be knowledgeable in patient assessment, critical thinking, and nursing interventions, with excellent communication and empathy.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in accordance with established nursing standards and practices.
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams and health history.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician.
• Monitor patient progress and vital signs, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Provide wound care, assist with mobility, and manage pain control as required.

Collaboration & Communication

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure coordinated care.
• Document patient information and nursing interventions accurately in the electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Educate patients and families on health management, treatment plans, and recovery.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure adherence to all hospital, state, and national healthcare regulations and standards.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to prevent the spread of infection.
• Report any changes in patient condition to the attending physician or healthcare team.

Patient Advocacy

• Advocate for patients’ rights and well-being, ensuring they receive timely and appropriate care.
• Provide emotional support to patients and families during treatment and recovery.

Professional Development

• Stay current with nursing practices and healthcare trends through continuing education and professional development.
• Participate in departmental meetings, patient care conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (BSN) or an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution.
• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license with DOH or DHA or MOH acceptable; mention of country/region as applicable.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• Valid DOH or DHA or MOH license
