  • Compile, structure, and analyse data for SUTs.
  • Ensure accurate data entry and categorisation using the latest economic and industry classifications.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for data validation and consistency with national accounts standards.

  • Support construction and validation of IOTs to analyse economic flows between industries.
  • Coordinate with teams to refine methodologies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis to ensure the reliability of input-output models.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Perform in-depth data analysis for SUTs and IOTs, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.

  • Development of Input-Output Tables (IOTs):
  • Support construction and validation of IOTs to analyse economic flows between industries.
  • Coordinate with teams to refine methodologies and ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis to ensure the reliability of input-output models.
  • Data Analysis and Reporting:
  • Perform in-depth data analysis for SUTs and IOTs, ensuring accuracy and comprehensiveness.
  • Assist in preparing reports detailing:
  • Methodologies
  • Assumptions
  • Data sources used in table development.
  • Provide recommendations for improving data quality and statistical processes.
  • Specific Activities:

Assistance and provision of advice related to the following activities:

  • Evaluate data for gaps and recommend plans to collect missing data.
  • Organize data into structured databases and set up infrastructure.
  • Develop a classification framework and balancing system.
  • Create load file templates and assist in processing source data.
  • Assist in developing concordance tables between source codes and SUT classification codes.
  • Assist in generating initial estimates, including those for the non-observed economy, and compile them into structured load files.
  • Assist in conducting balancing procedures:
  • Estimate margins, taxes, and subsidies by product.
  • Perform product-by-product balancing and analysis of estimates.
  • Assist in documenting balancing methodology and making post-balancing adjustments.
  • Convert SUT from purchasers’ prices to basic prices and develop IOTs.
  • Assist in preparing files for dissemination and finalising balancing methodology documents.
  • Assist in documenting sources and methods and writing analytical pieces for release.
