Overview

QA Automation Tester – Trade Finance Payments/SWIFT role at Impronics Technologies . We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Automation Tester to join the Trade Finance and Payments team, focusing on Eximbills from China System. The role requires automation testing experience with Selenium , Cucumber , and Jenkins , together with knowledge of SWIFT MT Messages and ISO20022-based messaging flows . The candidate should have strong interpersonal skills and be able to work effectively within a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business and functional requirements to determine appropriate automation test strategies.
  • Design, develop, maintain, and execute Selenium-based automation test scripts.
  • Maintain and update regression test suites regularly to ensure product quality.
  • Review and analyze automation test results and create Test Summary Reports.
  • Prepare test scenarios, test cases, and document test execution results clearly.
  • Conduct smoke testing to validate new features and ensure they meet business expectations.
  • Analyze and improve existing payment processing solutions and workflows.
  • Work with stakeholders to transition current processes to ISO20022-compliant messaging.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure clear understanding of requirements and deliverables.
  • Take ownership of systems, acting as Product Owner/Backlog Keeper when required.
  • Document software products, systems, and workflows with high clarity and detail.
  • Understand and work with APIs and microservices architecture.
  • Use Postman or SoapUI for API testing and perform database validations using SQL queries.
  • Ensure alignment with global team standards and participate in cross-border project initiatives.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of experience in automation testing.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Selenium, Cucumber, and test automation frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with SWIFT MT message formats and ISO20022 payment messaging is essential.
  • Proven work experience within Trade Finance and Payments (processing, clearing, SWIFT) domain.
  • Strong SQL skills and familiarity with data validation techniques.
  • Understanding of APIs, microservices, and their interrelationships.
  • Experience working on Eximbills from China System is a strong advantage.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Postman or SoapUI for API validation.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with global stakeholders and internal teams.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to produce clear and concise material.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in global teams.

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Management, or a related field.
