We are partnering with a leading institutional investment platform to appoint a Director / Senior Director within its Real Estate Investment team. This role is focused on executing and managing direct investments across a diversified real estate portfolio, with full ownership across the investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the full lifecycle of real estate investments including origination, underwriting, execution, and ongoing asset management
• Drive complex transactions end-to-end, including financial modelling, due diligence, structuring, negotiation, and closing
• Develop detailed investment papers and present recommendations to investment committees
• Actively manage portfolio assets, identifying and executing value creation initiatives
• Build and maintain strong relationships with developers, operators, advisors, and other market participants
• Provide strategic input on portfolio construction and market positioning
• Support and mentor junior team members

Candidate Profile

• Director: 12–15 years of experience
• Senior Director: 15–18+ years of experience
• Mandatory background in real estate private equity / direct investing (buyside) – candidates must currently be within a private equity or institutional investment platform
• Prior experience in investment banking (real estate, M&A, or leveraged finance), with a clear transition into buyside investing
• Proven track record of executing end-to-end real estate transactions within a principal investing environment
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and structuring expertise
• Deep understanding of real estate investment strategies across asset classes (core, core-plus, value-add, opportunistic)
• Experience operating in international markets is advantageous

Education

• Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier university (Finance, Economics, Real Estate or related discipline)
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification preferred
