Job Overview

We are seeking a qualified Gastroenterologist to join our esteemed medical facility in Oman. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while providing comprehensive care to patients with gastroenterological disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients with gastrointestinal diseases.
• Conduct advanced endoscopic procedures and other relevant diagnostic tests.
• Formulate and manage treatment strategies tailored to individual patient needs.
• Provide education to patients and their families regarding gastrointestinal health and treatment options.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate clinical records in accordance with healthcare regulations.
• Participate in research initiatives and quality improvement projects related to gastroenterology.

Requirements

• Medical degree with specialization in Gastroenterology.
• Board certification in Gastroenterology is highly desirable.
• Valid medical license to practice in Oman.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the field of gastroenterology.
• Skilled in performing diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills for effective patient engagement.
• Ability to collaborate and work cohesively within a healthcare team.
• Dedication to continual professional development and patient advocacy.
