We are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Hematologist to join a leading tertiary care hospital in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in diagnosing and managing both benign and malignant hematologic disorders, with a strong commitment to evidence-based care and multidisciplinary collaboration.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly qualified and culturally attuned Consultant Hematologist to provide comprehensive care for patients with hematologic disorders.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage hematologic conditions, including anemia, thrombocytopenia, leukemias, lymphomas, myeloma
• Manage hemophilia, sickle cell disease, and clotting disorders
• Oversee bone marrow biopsy procedures, transfusion protocols, and chemotherapy regimens
• Collaborate with oncology, pathology, and radiology teams for integrated patient care
• Provide consultative services to inpatient and outpatient units
• Participate in tumor boards, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Educate patients and families on disease management and treatment plans
• Contribute to academic teaching and CME programs

Qualifications & Experience

• Certification: Board-certified in Hematology (e.g., American Board, Royal College, or equivalent).
• Licensure: DOH (HAAD) license or eligibility required.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years post-specialization in a tertiary or academic hospital setting.
• Proven expertise in both benign and malignant hematologic conditions.
• Strong diagnostic, procedural, and communication skills.
