Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience in production or operations environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Knowledge of debugging and familiarity using industry standard simulations and debug tools.
- Knowledge of robotics/automated systems, industrial pneumatics and sensors, biotech equipment and applicable standards.
- Ability to work directly with vendors to drive training and production operation processes.
- Ability to streamline complex processes and implement workflows designed to increase efficiency.
- Excellent communication, people and investigative skills.
About the job
Responsibilities
- Lead and support mosquito production operations including egg production, larval rearing, sorting workflows and X-ray irradiation.
- Perform 5S principles in the mosquito production facility to ensure a safe and conducive working environment.
- Ensure SOPs are carried out by all production technicians and ensure that deviations and non-conformance are actively flagged/escalated.
- Carry out daily tasks in accordance with safety procedures and escalate issues for the prevention of accidents, injuries, and damage to equipment.
