Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
  • 5 years of software development experience using programming languages such as with Golang, Java or C++.
  • 5 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or storage systems.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, or a related technical field.
  • 1 year of experience in a technical leadership role.
  • Experience with distributed or parallel file systems.
  • Experience with performance investigations, performance analysis and tuning.
  • Experience building and launching APIs for file systems.

AI/ML includes many different workflows like pre-training, training, reinforcement learning, inferencing, etc.

In this role, you will be instrumental in building the next generation of cloud storage, specifically tailored for extreme-scale, data-intensive workloads such as generative AI and real-time inference.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $166,000-$244,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Write product or system development code.
  • Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
  • Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
  • Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
  • Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
