Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in program management.
- 8 years work experience in data center or networking or telecom operations.
- 5 years of experience in leadership role with direct reports.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of project management experience in the telecom or data center infrastructure space.
- Experience working in Data center operations.
- Experience leveraging AI/ML and data analytics tools to improve data center delivery or network capacity delivery.
- Experience working in organizational settings (e.g., shared accountability, geographic dispersion, ambiguity, etc.).
- Excellent quantitative, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you lead complex, multi-disciplinary engineering projects using your engineering expertise. You plan requirements with internal customers and usher projects through the entire project lifecycle. This includes managing project schedules, identifying risks and clearly communicating them to project stakeholders. You’re equally at home explaining your team’s analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical trade-offs in product development with engineers.
Using your extensive technical and leadership expertise, you manage various Engineering-specific programs and teams.
As a Technical Program Manager Lead, you will lead network deployment programs and manage a team that drives the operational work. You will guide the team in organizing cross-functional projects, ensuring the ownership, streamlined workflows, and managed schedules.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $192,000-$278,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Manage a team of technical program managers responsible for cross-functional coordination and oversight of data center network and capacity growth projects in a given region.
- Hire, coach, and develop a team to meet objectives. Manage career development and aid in the growth of team members.
- Work with direct reports and partner teams to set and implement the infrastructure delivery strategy for the region.
- Own and nurture relationships between cross-functional teams. Define and develop cross-team roles, expectations, and responsibilities.
- Deliver execution within multi-project programs. Drive process development and iterative refinement.
