As Design & Engineering Services Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Leading the full architectural and engineering design process from concept through delivery, ensuring alignment with companys standards and project objectives.
  • Develop and maintain design & engineering policies, processes, and tools aligned with organisational strategy.
  • Oversee all technical support services across the full project lifecycle , including feasibility, financing, procurement, construction, and project management.
  • Approve schematic designs, design‑development documents, and detailed technical drawings to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Direct project master planning , including infrastructure analysis, site planning, landscaping, specifications, and cost estimation.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, and external engineering partners to ensure methodologies, timelines, and deliverables meet project requirements.
  • Drive value engineering throughout every project phase to optimise cost efficiency while maintaining quality.
  • Secure all regulatory permits, licenses and approvals required from authorities for project progression.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or coming from an architectural background with 10+ years in managerial roles within real estate development or construction (ideally retail or commercial).
  • Strong experience across architectural, structural, mechanical, electrical, and infrastructure design coordination.
  • Proven capability in contracts, commercial reviews, agreements, pricing, procurement, and POs .
  • Background in mixed‑use, entertainment, malls, or hospitality projects .
  • Solid understanding of MEP systems, design reviews, shop drawings and construction‑phase coordination .
  • Ability to manage QS teams, design assistants, document controllers, and junior staff.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, including consultants, contractors, authorities and tenants.
  • Candidates coming from Eastern Europe, specifically Ukraine are paticularly welcome.
