This role is crucial for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of mission-critical networks, with a strong focus on advanced routing, switching, firewalls, SD‑WAN, and Cisco security frameworks. Detailed Job Description

As a Network Security Engineer, you will take ownership of designing, implementing, and troubleshooting enterprise-grade network and security infrastructures. You will work with multi-vendor technologies including Cisco, Fortinet, and Huawei, supporting large-scale deployments across core, distribution, and access layers. Your responsibilities will include securing network perimeters, managing complex VPN and SD‑WAN architectures, and handling security platforms such as FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiSandbox. This role involves close collaboration with architecture and operations teams to ensure robust security and seamless network performance across all business services.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructures (Core/Distribution/Access)
• Configure and support Routing & Switching across large-scale environments
• Manage FortiGate and Huawei firewalls including policies, NAT, IPS, and VPNs
• Deploy, integrate, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI fabric environments
• Configure and support Cisco ISE & Cisco DNAC for network access control and automation
• Implement SD-WAN solutions and site-to-site VPN architectures
• Configure and troubleshoot Nexus switches (5K/7K/9K series)
• Utilize FortiAnalyzer, FortiManager, and FortiSandbox for security operations
• Perform advanced troubleshooting across complex enterprise networks
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain network security and performance

Required Qualifications & Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Enterprise Networking (Routing & Switching)
• Strong expertise with FortiGate & Huawei firewalls
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI – deployment, integration & troubleshooting
• Solid skills in Cisco ISE & Cisco DNAC – configuration and support
• Proven experience with SD‑WAN & site-to-site VPN solutions
• Proficient in Nexus switch configuration & advanced troubleshooting
• Strong grasp of multi-layer network architecture (Core / Distribution / Access)
• Experience with Fortinet security tools: FortiAnalyzer, FortiSandbox, FortiManager
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex environments

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Cisco or Fortinet Certifications (CCNP/CCIE, NSE4+/NSE6/NSE7)
• Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Ansible)
• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure, AWS, GCP)
• Familiarity with Zero Trust and modern network security frameworks
• Experience supporting multi-site or regional enterprise networks
