Al Ramz Corporation P.J.S.C. is seeking a Vice President – EPMO to join our growing team.

This role will establish and lead a centralized enterprise function responsible for strategic oversight and governance across Al Ramz Group, ensuring robust demand management, portfolio and project governance frameworks, standardized methodologies, and best practices are consistently applied, supported by effective mentoring tools and structured processes. Ensure full strategic alignment between corporate objectives and all IT and non-IT initiatives executed across the organization. Develop and maintain comprehensive reporting on strategic initiatives and project performance for Executive Management and group-wide stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making. Provide the structure and direction required for the business to operationalize strategy and deliver sustainable customer and shareholder value in line with the company’s vision. Collaborate across all business units to drive execution of solutions that address evolving customer needs while fostering a culture of exceptional service. Oversee enterprise demand prioritization and intake governance, manage delivery of the Group’s most critical programs, and ensure all initiatives are defined through clear, structured, and validated requirements prior to development or implementation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enterprise Planning, Demand Management & Standardization
  • Lead enterprise demand forecasting and consolidate project requests across business units.
  • Establish prioritization frameworks to ensure alignment with strategy and avoid inter-departmental conflicts.
  • Develop and enforce standardized methodologies, governance models, tools, and project management practices across the organization.
  • Continuously improve processes, delivery frameworks, and operational efficiency.
  • Develop evaluation models for initiatives based on strategic fit, financial value, risk, and organizational capacity.
  • Strategic Execution & Business Planning
  • Translate corporate strategy into executable initiative roadmaps.
  • Support development of annual and multi-year business plans with delivery feasibility, resource modelling, and timelines.
  • Identify enterprise capabilities and assets to support business growth and transformation initiatives.
  • Ensure realistic execution plans for strategic initiatives and expansion programs.
  • Maintain enterprise visibility across all programs and projects.
  • Track progress, dependencies, budgets, risks, and benefits realization.
  • Conduct periodic portfolio reviews and audits to ensure adherence to governance standards.
  • Provide executive dashboards and decision-support analytics.
  • Recommend approval, deferral, or termination of initiatives based on performance and value.
  • Strategic Alignment & Organizational Enablement
  • Ensure initiatives across departments align with short- and long-term corporate objectives.
  • Advise leadership on investment prioritization and resource allocation.
  • Mentor department heads and initiative owners on governance, planning, and execution.
  • Deliver training programs to strengthen project management capability across the organization.
  • Business Development Support & Cross-Functional Integration
  • Support business growth initiatives by evaluating opportunities and structuring execution approaches.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external partners and vendors supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Analyse existing business development approaches and recommend improvements.
  • Work closely with technology teams to automate processes and enhance delivery efficiency.
  • Performance Monitoring & Value Realization
  • Track enterprise portfolios, programs, and initiatives against defined KPIs.
  • Ensure benefits realization frameworks are applied to all major initiatives.
  • Validate outcomes against business cases and strategic targets.
  • Provide periodic executive reporting on performance, risks, and opportunities.
  • Risk, Compliance & Governance Assurance
  • Identify enterprise initiative risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Escalate critical risks to leadership and relevant governance functions.
  • Ensure initiatives comply with regulatory, internal policy, and audit requirements.
  • Industry Insight & Knowledge Leadership
  • Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, and market practices relevant to strategy and transformation.
  • Identify opportunities to leverage innovation for competitive advantage.
  • Advise leadership on strategic implications of market developments.

Qualifications and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in systems information, Computer Sciences, Business Administration or Finance
  • Minimum Ten (10) years of experience 5+ in a financial services or management consulting organization.

Certifications

PMP (Project Management Professional) or

PGMP (Program Management Professional)

Desirable: MBA in Business Administration

Competencies or Skills

  • Professional experience working on strategic projects & programs with multiple priorities.
  • Proven ability to coordinate deliverables and dependencies across business units.
  • High level managerial skills
  • Strong analytical, innovative, problem solving and interpretative skills.
  • Financial and stock market trading business knowledge
  • In-depth understanding of the various components of investment operations
  • IT background and ability to challenge peers
