Job Summary
We are seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to join our customer’s team as an AI Trainer. In this remote role, you will apply your clinical expertise to train, evaluate, and refine advanced AI systems designed to support neurological diagnosis and patient care. Your insights will ensure that AI models reflect real-world neurological practice, clinical precision, and patient safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with AI engineers and data scientists to develop and evaluate machine learning models for neurological diagnostics and treatment support
- Review, annotate, and validate neurological case data, including patient histories, examinations, imaging, and diagnostic test results
- Interpret and analyze findings from EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, lumbar punctures, neuroimaging, and other diagnostic tools to inform AI model training
- Provide expert guidance on disorders of the central and peripheral nervous systems, ensuring clinical nuance and accuracy
- Identify safety risks, edge cases, and diagnostic complexities to improve AI reliability and robustness
- Communicate detailed clinical insights clearly in both written and verbal formats to interdisciplinary teams
- Stay current with advancements in neurology and integrate evolving best practices into AI training datasets
Required Skills and Qualifications
- MD or DO with board certification or board eligibility in Neurology (adult or pediatric) and active medical licensure
- Strong clinical experience diagnosing and managing a wide range of neurological disorders
- Expertise in interpreting neurological examinations and advanced diagnostic testing
- Proficiency in medical data analysis and structured clinical documentation
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to synthesize complex neurological information for both technical and non-technical audiences
- Comfortable collaborating in a fully remote, interdisciplinary environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience contributing to AI, machine learning, or digital health initiatives
- Familiarity with clinical data annotation and model evaluation workflows
- Background in health informatics or neurological research
- Experience in both adult and pediatric neurology
