Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in product management or related technical role.
- 2 years of experience developing or launching products or technologies within security, privacy, or a related area.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a technology or business related field.
- 10 years of PM experience with a focus on cybersecurity, infrastructure, or enterprise platform products.
- Experience building security products for edge computing or disconnected/air-gapped environments.
- Experience navigating compliance frameworks for highly regulated industries.
- Deep technical understanding of cloud security principles, container security, and network defense-in-depth strategies.
- Proven track record of launching or managing security tools such as Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR), or Vulnerability Management Systems (VMS).

As a Senior Product Manager for Security within GDC, you will be responsible for the end-to-end security posture of our cloud-centric platform. You will define the strategy and roadmap for critical security services – including SIEM, Vulnerability Management, and EDR – tailored for enterprise and sovereign environments.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $163,000-$237,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Define the vision for GDC’s integrated security stack, prioritizing features for SIEM, EDR, and automated vulnerability management across connected and air-gapped deployments.
- Drive the development of advanced detection capabilities and incident response workflows that function at scale in distributed and edge settings.
- Oversee the product lifecycle for vulnerability scanning and remediation, ensuring GDC infrastructure and hosted workloads remain secure against emerging threats.
- Translate the complex security and data residency needs of sovereign customers into actionable product requirements for air-gapped security operations.
- Partner with internal Google Cloud Security teams and external partners to integrate security tooling into the GDC platform.
