Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.
- 2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage or hardware architecture.
- Experience programming in Java or C++.
Preferred qualifications:
- Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
- 2 years of experience with data structures and algorithms.
- Experience developing accessible technologies.
- Experience developing and implementing tools for monitoring and managing infrastructure capacity.

Responsibilities
- Design and implement horizontal infrastructures with high throughput, low latency and high quality.
- Collaborate with engineers and product managers to quickly test new ideas.
- Resolve technical and scaling bottlenecks.
- Work with multiple teams across Search (e.g., Sports, Entertainment, Discover etc.) to identify growth opportunities and build the best Notification User experience, thereby growing Search.
- Learn and apply advanced techniques on load shedding, at-scale triggering and versatile fulfilling to achieve streamlined updates of critical features to Search users.
