About the job
A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It’s your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.
As a Program Manager within the Operational Transformation and Governance team, you will play a critical role in optimizing the Product Development Process (PDP) for Google Hardware. In this role, you will help lead the PDP and its strategy development with multiple stakeholders across the organization for one of Google’s largest growing operating teams, which is responsible for providing consumer goods and customer support for all of Google hardware products.
You will have an opportunity to shape how we influence product teams to launch products, drive efficiencies across a global operations team, develop scalable processes of development, onboard new capabilities to the PDP and resolve top issues gating product development through our ongoing gate process.
You will lead or support key devices and services projects, driving cross-functional collaboration and navigating complex challenges with agility and creativity. This role requires exceptional communication, a bias for action, and an ability to deliver impactful results on an organizational scale.
