Regional Business Development Manager – Distributor Management | UAE

What This Role Is About

Our client is looking for a Regional Business Development Manager, based in the UAE, to drive market growth and manage distributor partnerships across GCC markets.

This role operates within a distributor-led model, where you will be responsible for building strong distributor relationships, developing annual business plans, and driving channel expansion across key markets.

You will work closely with distributors to ensure strong sell-out performance, expand distribution, and execute effective trade strategies.

You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams including Finance, Trade Marketing, Supply Chain, and Marketing to achieve sales targets and deliver sustainable market growth.

The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit

  • Strong experience managing distributors is essential, as the business operates on a distributor-led model.
  • Experience across at least two GCC markets is required.
  • Proven ability to build and execute annual business plans with distributors, including sell-out targets, trade spends, KPIs, and incentives.
  • Strong experience in developing channel strategies and expanding distribution across Modern Trade, General Trade, E-commerce, and Away-from-Home channels.
  • Ability to drive market performance through pricing, promotions, NPD launches, and strong in-store execution.
  • Experience in tracking market performance, managing forecasts and stock levels, and achieving sales targets aligned with P&L commitments.
