Optometrists Perform Some or all of the Following Duties:Perform comprehensive eye examinations to assess vision and detect eye diseases.Diagnose refractive errors, visual disorders, and ocular conditions.Prescribe and fit eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other vision aids.Provide treatment for common eye conditions (., dry eye, infections, allergies).Educate patients on eye health, vision care, and preventive measures.Refer patients to ophthalmologists or specialists for advanced care when needed.Operate and maintain diagnostic equipment for accurate assessments.Maintain detailed patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.Stay updated with advancements in optometry and eye care technologies.Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
