Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in business development, partnerships, management consulting, or investment banking, in the Consumer Electronics, Auto, OEMs, Telecom, E-Commerce/Retail, Apps, Ads, Gaming, or Technology industries.
- Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
- Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
Preferred qualifications:
- Experience in partner management or business development in online advertising, data onboarding, or adtech.
- Experience operating within and across cross-functional teams (product management, engineering, legal, finance, marketing, etc) to drive successful partnerships or projects.
- Experience identifying partners, analyzing and structuring agreements with a proven track record of success in negotiation and execution.
- Experience in partner management including handling sensitive partnerships in policy contexts.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage ambiguity in a rapidly changing business environment.

Google’s line of products and services to our clients never stops growing. The Partnerships Development team is responsible for seeking and exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Equipped with your business acumen and extensive product knowledge, you are right on the front line of interacting with our partners, and helping them find ways to grow using Google’s newest product offerings. Your knowledge of relevant verticals and relationships with key industry players will help shape our great applications and content for products such as YouTube, Google TV and Commerce.
As a part of the Global Ads Partnerships (GAP) team, you will power and scale Google’s Ads products by developing relationships with third-party data providers, adtech/ martech platforms and research companies to enable privacy-safe solutions critical for accessing advertiser demand, publisher inventory, and measuring impact. You will leverage business development and relationship-building skills to communicate with both business and technical leaders, balance multiple priorities, understand products technically, develop and execute plans, make judgments, work across functions with internal and external partners, negotiate partnership agreements, and manage long-term partner relationships to drive the success of Ads Platform products.
The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google’s partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,000-$256,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and evolve external relationships with partners and across the ecosystem, and manage partnerships with entities of all sizes.
- Develop cross-product area partner initiatives and build go-to-market strategies to meet broader Google goals across rapidly changing industries, evaluate new business opportunities and build partnerships strategy and business plans like size market opportunity, landscape, identify relevant partners in different regions.
- Serve as the relationship manager for current existing agreements, help realize and optimize value from partnerships while building effective long-term relationships.
- Pitch to internal stakeholders and external partners globally; structure and facilitate agreements.
- Manage partner relationships globally to launch the agreement in collaboration with executive partner executives, and cross-functional teams across Product, Engineering, UX, Legal, Finance, Marketing and Sales
