They’re hiring a Head of Engineering & AI to lead delivery, shape technical direction, and scale a high-calibre engineering function.

This is a hands-on leadership role — suited to someone who still enjoys getting into the detail.

The Opportunity

You’ll sit at the centre of engineering, AI, and delivery — responsible for ensuring ideas actually translate into working, scalable systems.

The role blends:

• Ownership of technical direction across multiple live initiatives
• Building and evolving AI-enabled products and internal capabilities
• Leading and scaling an engineering function, managing teams of 15+ engineers
• Staying close enough to the tech to unblock teams when it matters
• Acting as a key bridge between technical delivery and stakeholder expectations

What They’re Looking For

• Strong track record delivering complete systems/products end-to-end
• Experience leading engineering teams of 15+ in fast-paced, delivery-focused environments
• Confident operating across multiple workstreams at once
• Comfortable going hands-on when needed (code reviews, debugging, architecture decisions)
• Able to communicate complex technical trade-offs in a clear, commercial way
