Overview

Job Summary: Assist the Manager – Credit Monitoring in tabulating CMU functions, set-up reminders follow-up on tasks progress, take CMC minutes, Employ MIS skills to enhance existing reports & develop new ones on need basis, assist with Internal/ External Audit points, track CBUAE observation points, and act as readily available back-up to perform the credit monitoring functions and default detection

• Assist the Manager – Credit Monitoring in tabulating CMU functions, set up reminders, follow up on task progress, take CMC minutes, employ MIS skills to enhance existing reports and develop new ones on a need basis, assist with Internal/External Audit points, track CBUAE observation points, and act as readily available back-up to perform the credit monitoring functions and default detection.

Basic Qualifications, Skills & Experience

• 2-5 years of MIS experience.
• Excellent grasp of English.
• Background on Credit Risk Functions.

Credit Risk Skills (Considered a Plus Point)

• Have relative knowledge of Credit Risk related laws & regulatory requirements
• IFRS 9 Governance Framework, Approach & Methodology
• Adequate knowledge on Rating requirement & meaning
• Adequate knowledge on Staging & their proper allocation
• Adequate knowledge on Impairment, Re-aging & Provisioning, Central Bank Provisioning requirement + Interest suspension, and Discounted Cash Flow requirement.
• Awareness on Types of collaterals, and their effect with defaulted / classified accounts
• Adequate knowledge on Write-off methodology & application
• Awareness on Default meaning, types, detection & reporting
• Awareness on Restructured loans, types, implications & Reporting

Mandatory Professional Certifications & Licenses Requirement

• A relevant bachelor’s degree is required
• Training courses supporting areas related to MIS, meeting arrangements & advanced English Prowess
• Certificates in Credit Risk are a plus
• UAE Nationals only.
