Overview

Exciting Opportunity – QA Engineer (Web & Mobile | Angular / Node.js)

Location: Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Contract: 3-month contract with potential extension

Start Date: Immediate – candidates with a notice period of 2 weeks or less will be prioritized.

المهام الأساسية

  • Create and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile apps.
  • Perform manual testing of UI, APIs, and end-to-end workflows.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Cypress, Playwright, or Appium.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to resolve defects and identify issues early.
  • Conduct regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across browsers and devices.
  • Ensure full test coverage and maintain traceability to user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
  • Recommend process improvements and implement QA best practices.

المتطلبات

  • 4+ years of QA experience in both manual and automated testing.
  • Proven expertise testing Angular web applications and Node.js APIs.
  • Strong knowledge of testing tools: Cypress, Selenium, Playwright, Postman (or similar).
  • Experience with mobile testing on Android/iOS (Appium preferred).
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git-based version control.
  • Good understanding of RESTful APIs, backend testing, and PWA/hybrid apps.
  • Exposure to performance and security testing.
  • ISTQB or other QA certification is an advantage.
