• Oversee all NOC operation, ensure alignment between teams, implement work procedures, single accountability for NOC from customer side and NOC side.
• Ensure service provisioning in Ip & DWDM networks is executed as per the SLA’s
• Follow up with Integration management and planning teams for system design and test.
• Ensure monitoring of the IP Core Network on 24 X 7 daily bases.
• Supervise and guide Technical lead in NOC in performing their assigned roles and network KPI’s are maintained.
• Follow up with Etisalat concerned parties and vendors for network snags and bugs.
• Ensures that all planned activities are carried out as per the plan.
• Prepares and submits the reports on the assigned network as required.
• Ensure O&M and management awareness of the major network faults and service disturbance.
• Ensure monitoring and maintaining the IP core network capacity & expand it when the utilization reaches the agreed thresholds.
• Provide monthly, quarterly and annual report about a general statistics of alarms and fault.
• Participates and preparation of project plans/budgets.
• Coordinates as required with other Engineering sections, contractors and consultants and follows up as required.
• Performs any other function assigned as and when required.
