Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Science / Head of Department (HOD) Chemistry to join a prestigious school in Al Ain UAE . This leadership position requires a native English speaker with a strong academic background leadership experience and a passion for driving excellence in science education.

المهام الأساسية

• Oversee and manage the Chemistry department ensuring academic excellence and curriculum alignment.
• Lead the development planning and implementation of the Chemistry curriculum in line with American/British standards.
• Mentor and support Chemistry teachers fostering a collaborative and innovative teaching environment.
• Monitor student performance and implement strategies to enhance learning outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with ADEK and school policies while maintaining a positive and engaging classroom culture.
• Drive department initiatives to continuously improve teaching quality and student achievement.

Candidate Requirements

• التعليم: Bachelors degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• المؤهل: Valid teaching license or education diploma.
• الخبرة:
  • Minimum 3 4 years of teaching experience within the British or American curriculum .
  • Prior leadership experience (HOD or similar role) is essential.
• Language: Native English speaker (Preferred) or any with IELTS 7.0 .
• Skills: Strong leadership curriculum development communication and interpersonal abilities.
