Develop and implement the overall legal strategy and governance framework ensuring alignment with FAB Asset Management priorities. Define the operating framework in consultation with other teams and ensure robust policies and controls exist to adhere to all statutory requirements. Oversee the Legal affair of FAB Asset management providing legal consultation to all business functions and stakeholders. Guide and lead litigation management efforts shaping litigation risk policies and enhancing corporate governance structures. Foster relationships with internal/external stakeholders regulatory authorities ensuring effective coordination and business partnership in adherence with legal frameworks.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensure all legal documentation fund/DPM structures and investmentcontracts comply with UAE and international regulations.
• Work closely with compliance risk and finance teams to assess legal risks.
• Lead interactions with regional and international regulators.
• Develop legal frameworks to enhance governance and legal compliance.
• Support dispute resolution and litigation matters related to investmentsand corporate governanceDiscretionary Portfolio Management (DPM).
• Fund Management Technology InternationalRisk and Compliance.

مؤهلات:

• Expert knowledge of asset management regulations in the UAE GCC andinternational markets (including discretionary portfolio management (DPM) and fund management.
• Robust understanding of legal and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to manage litigation dispute resolution and risk mitigation strategies.
• Team leadership and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills to advise senior managementand board members.
• Minimum of 8 years experience with at least 3 years in a similar role.
