About the Role

Edelman is seeking two experienced communication specialists with deep expertise in AI and emerging technologies for an 8-month secondment to a high-profile client. This is an exciting opportunity to work client-side while remaining embedded in the Edelman team supporting and leading a high-impact program that brings cutting-edge technology to life across public-facing campaigns events and digital content.

You will be embedded with the client on a full-time basis collaborating with internal teams stakeholders and external partners to deliver communications that make complex tech accessible relevant and engaging.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership : Lead and contribute to the development of communication strategies focused on AI and emerging technologies tailored to audience needs and stakeholder goals.
  • Content Development : Translate complex AI and tech concepts into compelling narratives reports presentations and digital content suitable for industry media government and public audiences.
  • Campaign & Event Delivery : Support and lead high-profile events exhibitions panel discussions and public engagement initiatives developing scripts talking points supporting materials and media assets.
  • Client & Stakeholder Engagement : Manage senior-level client relationships ensuring high-quality delivery and alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Digital & Media Strategy : Shape integrated campaigns across traditional digital and social platforms identifying the best channels to communicate innovation stories.

Skills and Experience

  • 7-10 years of experience in strategic communications public relations or marketing- specifically with a strong focus on AI and/or technology sectors.
  • Proven ability to translate complex technical content into engaging narratives for diverse stakeholders including policymakers business leaders and general audiences.
  • Experience leading major events exhibitions and campaigns that bring tech concepts to life.
  • Strong client handling skills and the ability to operate effectively at a senior level.
  • Demonstrated experience with integrated media campaigns including paid earned and owned media.
  • Excellent writing editing and presentation skills.
  • A collaborative mindset strong initiative and comfort working in fast-paced high-impact environments.
  • Desirable
  • Academic background in AI computer science engineering or a related field (not essential but beneficial).
  • Previous experience working in an agency or consultancy setting.
  • Familiarity with policy and regulatory landscapes related to AI and digital innovation.
