AbouttheJob

• Lead the full cycle engineering and development projects across the resort, ensuring each initiative strengthens operational performance, elevates guest experience and protects long ‑ term asset value.
• Drive the resort’s sustainability and energy ‑ efficiency agenda by optimising utility performance, setting reduction targets and implementing innovative, cost ‑ efficient engineering solutions.
• Oversee multi ‑ property project governance and financial alignment, managing capex and FF&E priorities in close collaboration with Finance and hotel leadership to ensure disciplined budgeting and timely delivery.
• Act as the strategic link between operations, corporate functions and ownership, securing approvals, resolving barriers and ensuring smooth coordination with Jumeirah Design Services, Dubai Holding and Asset Management.
• Safeguard excellence in resort infrastructure, technical operations and life ‑ safety compliance by overseeing critical shared assets including chiller plants, transport, beaches, lagoons, landscaping, pest control and animal welfare.
• Represent Engineering at senior leadership forums, delivering insights, progress updates, risk assessments and strategic recommendations that inform enterprise ‑ level decisions.

AboutYou

Theidealcandidateforthispositionwillhavethefollowingexperienceandqualifications:

• 14+ years of progressive engineering leadership, with at least 8–10 years in senior roles leading multi ‑ asset, multi ‑ discipline engineering operations in complex environments.
• Demonstrated experience in luxury hospitality, large ‑ scale mixed ‑ use developments, or resort operations
• Master’s degree in Engineering or Facilities Management; certifications in sustainability or project management (LEED, PMP)
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil) or related field
• Deep understanding of sustainability, decarbonization, and energy ‑ efficiency programs.
