IT Business Partner (Hands-on Delivery & ERP Implementation)

Overview

We are looking for a commercially minded, hands‑on IT Business Partner who can bridge business and technology, take ownership of execution, and deliver real outcomes.

This role is not about managing vendors or writing strategy decks — it’s about getting things done . You will work directly with stakeholders to understand needs, design solutions, and personally drive implementation , including ERP systems and core business platforms.

• Act as the primary interface between business units and IT , translating commercial needs into practical technology solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery of IT initiatives — from requirements through to implementation and adoption
• Lead and personally execute ERP system implementation (selection, configuration, rollout, optimisation)
• Build solutions without reliance on external vendors , leveraging internal capability and hands‑on expertise
• Identify process inefficiencies and implement scalable, automated solutions
• Ensure systems support business growth, operational efficiency, and data‑driven decision making
• Work closely with leadership to prioritise initiatives based on commercial impact and ROI
• Drive user adoption, training, and continuous improvement post‑implementation

Key Requirements

• Proven experience as an IT Business Partner, IT Manager, or similar role in a fast‑paced environment
• Strong track record of delivering projects end‑to‑end , not just managing them
• Hands‑on experience implementing ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite or similar)
• Ability to configure, deploy, and optimise systems independently (minimal reliance on vendors)
• Strong understanding of business processes across finance, operations, and commercial functions
• Comfortable working in a lean environment — resourceful, pragmatic, and execution‑focused
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to challenge and influence senior leadership

Preferred Profile

• Experience in high‑growth or transformation environments
• Background in process re‑engineering / digital transformation
• Technical capability across integrations, data flows, and system architecture
• Someone who is low‑ego, high ownership , and thrives on delivery
