Summary

We are looking for a Language Acquisition Head of Department who will be responsible for overseeing the English, Spanish, and French language departments within our organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in language acquisition, curriculum development, team management, and must be a qualified teacher.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement language acquisition programs for English, Spanish, and French departments.
  2. Create curriculum plans, assessment tools, and teaching materials for language courses.
  3. Supervise language instructors and provide guidance on teaching methods and techniques.
  4. Monitor student progress and implement strategies to support their language learning goals.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to integrate language acquisition programs into the overall educational framework.
  6. Stay updated on language acquisition research and trends to continuously improve departmental offerings.

Candidate Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Linguistics, Education, or related field.
  2. Proven experience in language acquisition, ideally with a focus on English, Spanish, and French.
  3. Strong leadership and management skills to oversee a team of language instructors.
  4. Must be a qualified teacher with relevant certifications.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to interact with students, instructors, and other stakeholders.
  6. Knowledge of curriculum development, assessment techniques, and educational best practices in language acquisition.
  7. Proficiency in English, Spanish, and French languages is highly desirable.
